Im guessing that if any where, they would be assumed to be dragon bones or such, or would be seen as unholy. Anyone with more knowledge than I?

I'm sure there are many more cases, but I just recently talked about one such example over here: on fossil bones found by native allies of Hernan Cortés during his conquest campaigns in central Mexico (early 16th c.); and how they were believed to be from giants. Hope this helps!
