Aşıkpaşoğlu, where can I find a translated version

by WhiskyAndSteak

Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to find out what exactly is the Aşıkpaşoğlu. Currently I am under the impression that it is a manuscript with a history of Anatolia, however, I am having trouble finding any reliable information about it. Does anyone know what it is, and if there is a translated copy online?

Thank you,

Grateful Student

I think there is some confusion here. Aşıkpaşaoğlu is the author's name (-oglu suffix). the book you are looking for is Tevârîh-i Âl-i Osman, discussed in greater detail at http://ottpol.ims.forth.gr/?q=content/tev%C3%A2r%C3%AEh-i-%C3%A2l-i-osman-stories-house-osman .
