Hey everyone, first time poster for this sub here. I'm doing coursework for the reasons of US failure in Vietnam and had the idea of accrediting communism as an ideology as one of many reasons for the North's success. My reasoning is that it went hand in hand with total war, allowed state propaganda to fuel the war effort (an issue the US famously struggled with), and stop political opposition.
I'm not sure if this is a good point to argue of not so I would love to hear your takes. Also if anyone has sources to back up their claims that would be very helpful.
