I have been i contact with the researchers for WWII soldiers. Most files were burned in a fire. My Dad was in WWII stationed in Biak for the first two years. I just heard back from St Louis. They said no big smile but they may find info on morning reports. What is a morning report and is it specific info as to a certain soldier in the Army AIr Corps WWII? Another words would it be worth paying 35 dollars for whatever they find.
Often when soldiers came back from WWII they were instructed to register their discharge papers with the local courthouse. You may be able to get his records if you know where he lived when he got home.
