What do you exactly mean by Dutch Empire? The Dutch never had an emperor of their own, but were part of the Holy Roman Empire during early medieval times, and were part of the French empire under Napoleon Bonaparte.

The Dutch had a great deal of colonial influences, but then again, do you mean the huge impact of the Dutch East Indian Trading Company (VOC) and the West Indian Company WIC, or The Dutch East Indies, wich were part of the Dutch kingdom until the 1940's?
