Is there any legitimacy to any pre-Columbian American exchange theories? Other than the vikings of course.

I read a thing about some ancient Egyptian fellas testing positive for tobacco and cocaine. Is it possible there was trade? Or maybe the plant seeds just somehow got over by wind? Or historians just having a wild corpse themed party before the analysis?

I answered a similar question to this previously.

In short--there were at least 3 major migrations of East-Asian nomads into North America via the Bering Strait, and contact between Polynesians and Native South Americans. There is no reputable evidence for any trans-Atlantic contact before the Vikings, including by Ancient Egyptians.
