Do phones still use operators? Do I have access to cassettes and VHS, or are these too expensive for the average college student? Did I have to go into debt for this degree? What is dorm life like? Are there meal plans and the like?

I was a college student in 1980. I was a single mother and I had a grant which paid my tuition and most of my books. I also had a part time job to support us. I could have bought more cassettes but I preferred vinyl. Not sure what you want to know, but ask away. never lived in a dorm.
