Hey folks, if I could throw out a PSA as well. I’m pretty confident it’s not the regular readers, question askers and overall wonderful people of this subreddit doing it, but you’re the ones who read this so you’re the ones who get to see my rant. It’s pretty rude to delete a question after someone’s put significant time and effort into answering it. I get pretty sad when I’m writing up my list at the end of the week and find some great answers on posts that have been erased and thrown into the void. Not only is it rude to the poster’s who worked hard, but by deleting the question it essentially removes it from all search results, making it almost impossible to find again. Let’s not do that okay folks?
*That I put together. I’m sure there’s some other delightful lists out there that I have nothing to do with.
I was pretty pleased with how this answer turned out on the killing of POWs during the Civil War. Aside from honking my own horn though...

/u/-Baobo- answered "Is there now a scholarly consensus or whether beer led to bread or vice versa?"
/u/Bentresh answered "Seeing as Egypt was under British patronage for most of the last two centuries, why is the majority of ancient Egyptian research primarily in French?"
