What do historians do in an average work day?
Sorry about the title! Posted prematurely and currently trying to delete the post, feel free to ignore.
It depends what you mean by 'historian'! An academic historian might split their time between teaching or doing research for a paper or writing. A public historian who works at a museum or with a historical society could be helping their community with geneology projects or designing an exhibit. A public historian who works with media could be researching for/consulting on a movie or documentary, or a play or musical. Etc.
