I am planning a trip to Egypt later this year, and I want to brush up on my Egyptian history prior to my trip! I would love a comprehensive look that covers - well, everything. I'm interested in all of it! I'm not sure whether that exists, and I'm certainly open to reading multiple books, but hoped you could point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!
Hi there!
The flaired users here actually compile and maintain a booklist for questions like these. I suspect you may want to browse several parts of the section on the Middle East and North Africa. The section on Ancient Egypt will of course be of interest, and at a glance the section on contemporary history also looks like it contains some works that might be right up your alley.
Cheers!
