I've always been interested in reading Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind, but I've heard from many people that it is not considered accurate by experts like anthropologists and historians. What is a book that is similar in format and content but considered more accurate?
I loved Toute lhistoire du monde (cc) Poche – 14 février 2007 de Jean-Claude Barreau. It's the entire story of the world, and it's a similar style. The guy is a historian and it's well written in a similar matter. I'm not sure you can get it in another language though.
