I am a peasant in medieval Europe who broke a leg while working on my farm. Do I have any hope of making a full recovery?

If the bone is sticking out of the leg, absolutely not. It would get infected and you would die. It also depends on whether or not it was broken in multiple places. They knew to set the bones, and to try not to walk on them, but being a peasant, you sometimes had to do uncomfortable things. So if your field needed to be harvested, and you either died or harvested that field, you would probably attempt to walk before it was healed correctly. The main thing was whether or not the bone was still in the skin. Once it was sticking out you were screwed.
