I've seen 1177 BC: The Year Civilization Collapsed by Eric Cline recommended highly here and there's an AMA with the author

The End of The Bronze Age by Robert Drews get my vote. Several contradictory but persuasive ideas have been put forward as to why the Bronze Age ended and Iron Age began just when it did. Each chapter puts forward a different piece of conventional wisdom, e.g. Sea People or a volcano. Evidence is described to support the theory, and then he shoots it down. He finally gets around to the most likely cause as he sees it.
