The Nazi Holocaust predominately targeted Jews, however it did target other groups of people as well. My question is related to one of these groups: How were the Gypsies treated Post WW2 and was there any active focus to help the group? If not, why?

/u/estherke previously answered "After the holocaust what happened to the Gypsys [sic]? Treatment of the gypsies [sic] in the latter half of the 20th century?" and is flaired for Porajmos ("Devouring"), the Romani name for the genocide.
