Did Nazis themselves or their contemporaries ever define Nazism as "left"?

The Nazis originally identified as a "workers party" however this was mainly to get people on side as he had very few socialist policies, he had to be very careful in defining himself as "left" as he did not want to be associated with the other left wing parties like the communist KPD and the socialist SPD. So no the Nazis were never really branded as left wing, they were viewed as conservative by the German public and the opposition.
