Question regarding Rome

by Boredyx

Hello everyone!

Recently, we finished discussing the history of Rome in school, but one question I didn’t get an answer to stuck in my head.

I can’t help but wonder, do you well knowledgeable historians think that Rome was better off as part of an empire or as a republic? Why do you think so? Educate me!
