Is there evidence for voluntary migration of Sub-Saharan Africans to the Caribbean and today's Southern states of the USA in pre-Columbian times?

I'm curious if there could be. The point that was raised, were favorable ocean currents and wind patterns.

I've discussed here that there is no evidence for pre-Columbian contact between Africa and the Americas. However, that response addresses the more frequent claim that Africans visited Mesoamerica. Is there a certain source that's inspiring your question? Without any specific points besides "It was possible" there's nothing more to answer than "No."
