Why after the armistice was signed soldiers kept fighting in WWI?

by ratedguns

I was watching this video (I know it may be misleading and can’t be a valuable source of information) but anyways if the treaty was announced why did they kept fighting. I mean, war wasn’t going to have a turning point in just like 6 hours so why did they kept fighting? Why did they have to wait until 11 am and not just end up the war when they announced it? Last hours of WWI

This is a very fair question that was, as it happens, given some detailed consideration fairly recently in another thread, led by /u/Georgy_K_Zhukov. While there's always more to say, you might like to review it while waiting for fresh answers to your enquiry:

Henry Gunther was supposedly the last man killed in World War 1 having died at 10.59am on 11 November. If the Armistice was signed at 5.45am why did the fighting continue until 11am? Would the soldiers have been aware of the Armistice?
