I just read the entire Declaration of Independence (for the first) and realized that I have no idea what most of the complaints are about. E.g.,

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

I have not heard any stories of seas getting plundered by the Crown or towns getting burned.

Is there a good book that goes through each claim and details what motivated it?

Looking at the book list "The Constitutional Origins of the American Revolution" is somewhat close, but its Table of Contents is off.
