Since Alexander Hamilton was from an island in the Caribbean did he know any other languages? (Probably a dumb question I’m just curious)

Not a dumb question at all. Hamilton was from Nevis, which was a British colony, so he was probably only exposed to English and Saint Kitts Creole as a youth, though I don't know of any evidence that he had any knowledge of the latter. According to Ron Chernow's Alexander Hamilton (New York: Penguin Books, 2004), he knew enough Latin and Greek to attend King's College (now Columbia University) (pp. 42, 52), and is recorded as being able to quote Latin as part of his legal work (pp. 190). On page 119 of the same biography, it is stated that Hamilton acted as an interpreter for Washington when speaking to and corresponding with his French allies, though on page 464, Moreau de St. Méry is quoted as writing, "he spoke French, but quite incorrectly."
