What was the conditions that led to the Russian Navy coming to the aid of the Confederates?
What were the major ramifications afterward resulting from this action?
So you seem to be under a severe misunderstanding on two levels. The first is a misunderstanding of the Russian involvement in the American Civil War, which in reality was never active, even though there was some level of moral support, even if the extent and reasons for it were somewhat misunderstood at the time. The second is that Russia was one of the most pro-Union major powers, and it was Union ports that the Russian fleet visited during the war, not Confederate ones. I've written a bit more about this before, which may be of interest to flesh things out.
