From the 1300-1500 A.D. I am trying to find the above information but cannot seem to find any cases of the sort through browsing. Can anyone list any cases of of this occuring or have no Ronin saught glory elsewhere? Thanks.
A bit later time frame, but you may be interested in my answer on Japanese nobles in early 17th c Mexico. , esp. in part 2. While the first Japanese diplomatic mission was to Mexico City, the second one went from there to Spain and Rome in 1614. The intention to improve relations with the Spanish Crown and the Pope was hindered by Japan's seclusion policies from the 1620s. I also discuss the at least one case we know of a samurai who ended up living in colonial Mexico.
Not exactly what you asked, but hopefully helpful nonetheless!
