Hi all, a question that I have been obsessed with and have seen NOTHING on is the question of whether or not ancient romans, Greeks, or really any civilization from European antiquity (barring those in the americas), bore witness to a tornado, or waterspout. What would Jupiter have to say about it?

Tornados are found in all continents except Antarctica. The UK has more tornados per unit area than any other country, although the USA has more tornados than any other country.

It is overwhelmingly probable that people in many ancient civilisations would have witnessed tornados and waterspouts.
