Dad has filing cabinets filled with files carefully labeled and stored from the 60’s. He worked on South East Asian history. What do I do with all these pieces of paper? Would the university want them?
I think I may know him, or else it's a heck of a coincidence.
If the case, and given how well known his work is, it won't hurt to talk to Special Collections about his files or papers. If they aren't able to take them (and our budget situation is horrendous), they could tell you what programs have the resources to do so.
