How authentic is the evidence of the existence of Jesus from a historical standpoint?

I remember learning in school as a kid the history of the Christian religion. They talked a bit about Jesus in it but didn’t go into detail for how authentic the evidence of his existence, and even miracle workings.

I think it would be cool to get this from a purely historical standpoint, someone that has travelled or at least had some scholarly historical studies on this topic.
