I recently read The Red Tent and have been watching a documentary series about the pharaohs of Ancient Egypt and between the two I got to thinking about the crossover between biblical peoples/events and historical evidence.
Specifically, is there any evidence among artifacts or Egyptian POV stories of a people known as the Israelites being enslaved by a pharaoh after coming to the area generations prior due to widespread famine? Do we know who that pharaoh might have been? Are there any records of a mass exodus of enslaved people out of Egypt?
No evidence has ever been found for Israelites being enslaved in Egypt, or or any kind of mass exodus event, wandering in the Sinai or conquest of Egypt. Mainstream scholars no longer believe that the Israelite bondage or the Exodus, as they are described in the Hebrew bible, were historical events. The Israelites seem to have emerged from indigenous Canaanites around the 13th Century BCE and never left.
There are some modified hypotheses about smaller scale events that might have provided inspiration or the Exodus myth, for example, Richard Elliot Friedman speculates that it may have only been a single tribe (the Levites), who joined an already existing confederation of other tribes (Fredman bases this on Egyptian inluence on the Levites and the fact that the Levites are not named in the earliest lists of Israelite tribes), but even that is tentative and Friedman argues only that it is possible, but can't be proved. William Dever thinks there were some groups of escaped slaves who joined up with Canaanite tribes, but those slaves would not have been Israelites.
In any case, the specific question about whether there is specific archaeological evidence of Israelites in Egypt is no. Israelites, as a distinctive culture, really didn't even exist yet during the alleged bondage.

The general consensus is it didn't not happen exactly the way the Biblical narrative portrays, but that the story does have some basis in actual events. There is currently no consensus on what those events are but that shouldn't be construed as agreement that none of those events happened.
