I heard this from a South African about a year ago but forgot the name of the tribe/group that they said and didn't look into it further after that.

It went like this. The current black population that is there, and lived through apartheid after whites took over, took the land from another group of African people that lived around where Capetown is today.

Is this real? And if so, who were they? How were they different from black South Africans today?
