Why didn't Hitler ever sneak & attack the United States on their home soil? The Nazis had tons of intelligent officers & generals who were all willing to take risk. So, this idea absolutely crossed their table at some point, if not multiple times. Hell, it seems like destroying even just a handful of Fighter Plane/Tank/or Navy Shipyards would've played a huge impact on WWII.
I am asking this because Hitler sure didn't hesitate attacking EVERYONE else in their homes during WWII - ex: blitzkrieg.

Hitler sent submarines to US territorial waters. Numerous American ships were torpedoed off the coast of New York and New Jersey. There were Nazi spies/saboteurs working in New York ports. Jewish labor union leaders in New York made a crucial contribution to the war effort by picking them out.
But since America is so far from Europe, it was impossible for Hitler to send bombers like in England.
