I don't know how to write a reply on this that satisfies the standards of this sub as this seems like a question with a one-sentence answer: I'm pretty sure you mean ζῷον (misreading the omega with iota subscript for psi) which means "living being" or "animal".

As for Aristotle - he wrote five works about animals (History, Generation, Movement, Progression and Parts), I'd suggest you check out De generatione animalium if you want to get an idea about his views on animals (as it will also give you the background to a lot of feminist criticism of Aristotle), there's a Loeb edition (bilingual) by Peck (digitally available at archive.org).
