Everywhere I look online, someone is expounding their theory on where Yahweh came from as though it is a widely accepted fact. Some of these theories are actually well founded and are probably taken seriously by the academic community. Others aren't, but it's really hard to tell which ones to pay attention to and which ones to ignore when you're studying this topic for the first time.
