This is a question which is insanely more difficult to answer than you think. Whole books have been written in an attempt to quantify it. And it is quantification that you are asking for. Fortunately, there is an excellent book by Philip Kay (Rome's Economic Revolution Oxford 2014). The fourth part is all about quantification, and the inherent obstacles to quantification. He goes through all the caveats and problems, then gives some very nice charts. But that still won't help us here, because if I give you numbers, they will be in millions of sesterces or denarii, and I'm guessing that means nothing to you. For instance:
Estimated Total non-slave Household Income, 50 BCE: 3,510 million sesterces
Roman State Income by 50 BCE: 1,770 million denarii
See what I mean? :) I highly recommend the book, and especially that fourth part about Quantification.
