I found what I believe might be a print at the Goodwill and r/latin helped me find out the history, of who it is, but I want to learn more about the history of the medium, why it was created, what would it be called and where could I find out more? I'm also curious if this is just a mass produced piece of art that you would find at an Aaron Brothers type of store or is it something else?

The person depicted in the print, John Leventhorp, who was one of four men who had access to the inner apartments of the royal court of King Henry VII, seems sort of like an odd subject to make a print of if the person wasn't who previously owned it wasn't directly related to them... at least in my opinion. I'm absolutely intrigued by it and fascinated by this find. Any information would be wonderful.
