Can anyone give me some good book or article recommendations about Neolithic, Bronze Age, and Iron Age Ireland’s ritual and religion? I’ve already found some for my thesis but I have a feeling you guys will know of more!
I recently finished Noongar Land, Noongar People by Kingsley Palmer and the SWALSC. It is the public version of the anthropological evidence submission for the Nyungar native title claim, summarising all available primary and secondary sources on the Nyungar people and drawing comparisons between the Nyungar of 1829 and the Nyungar of today.
What I'd like to start doing is looking into Australian food history - in particular, why we had no 'Columbian exchange'. It's a question I've never seen asked or answered, and it has bugged me for a long time. Most people assume it's because it's we have nothing to offer, or that colonists were too bigoted to adopt Australian foods, but I want real answers.
