This article is discussing the Solutrean Hypothesis, which is generally regarded as an unsupported fringe theory among anthropologists and archaeologists. The hypothesis attempts to tie the Clovis peoples of North America to the Solutrean peoples of Europe. I go into the problems with the hypothesis in this post from a few years ago.
