I am trying to find a comprehensive list of locations for all (or at least a large number of) previous nuclear weapon (and related) sites in Ukraine prior to denuclearisation. I am struggling with the language barrier.. I have found some old maps/images but have no idea what I am looking at or reading (translation issues).
I am trying to create my own digital map with some brief historical context pertaining to the geopolitical relations between the US, Russia and Ukraine following denuclearization.
Does anyone know of any useful resource I can use? English friendly.

The most detailed, fine-grained list I have found of Soviet missile sites is on this site. It's very dense and organized primarily by individual missiles (e.g. the R-16), but has very detailed lists of sites and deployment dates. The trick is figuring out which sites are in the Ukrainian SSR, since it is usually not indicated specially.
In print media, Pavel Podvig's Russian strategic nuclear forces is the most useful reference work to consult.
