The name of the wet nurse is Wang Lianshou 王连寿. After Puyi stopped drinking milk when he was 9, the other concubines decided that she is useless so they threw her out without telling Puyi. During the time she was feeding Puyi, they established a very tight connection, but unfortunately she was not allowed to see her own daughter and her own daughter died from malnutrition (she only knew of this after being thrown out of the palace). Puyi threw a fit after hearing that she got tossed out. After he became the emperor of Manchukuo, he sought her out and brought her back to live in the palace.
