Oxford Bibliography is wonderful where experts on a subject recommend books and articles related to a topic from philosophy to International relations. There is some history scattered around but I was wondering if there is any such database for history where a curated list of bibliography is there for a particular era in history? For example if I wanted to learn everything about Mugal empire, there should be a bibliography etc.
There is no single Oxford Bibligraphy for History, most of the Oxford Bibliographies involve history including but not limited to: Biblical Studies, Classics, African Studies, Chinese Studies, Jewish Studies, Medieval Studies, Islamic Studies, Renaissance and Reformation, Latin American Studies, Military History, Atlantic History. While others have dedicated pages on the history of their topic.
Just Browse by Subject. Even spread out over these many categories it will only get you so far, and for Bibliographies on certain subjects you might be better served by looking into the Bibliography of specific books.
