Not sure if this is the right place to be asking this question, and if it’s not allowed then the mods should notify me to remove it, but anyway here it goes.

I collect military uniforms and gear, and one of my sets I’ve found confuses me to say the least, i can not find any sources as to what type this is, Its a soviet Cold War Era field uniform and has black collar tabs with a golden aviation cress on the collar tabs as well. (which could mean technical Corps/Engineer, in aviation?) it did not come with epaulets.

I understand the branch in which it was in but the type of uniform has be puzzled, the Tunics buttons on the front are hidden when buttoned up, only has two pockets, one on each of the upper torso, the pants have two cargo like pockets on the front and smaller ones on the back, all is a sand-tone color and made from a cotton material.

Again, if this isn’t the right place to ask this sort of question, then I would be more than happy to have this question redirected towards a different sub, any help is appreciated.
