I have not seen the movie, but I have seen the trailer, and I can say a few things definitively. First off. No, I can tell you it is not "completely historically accurate". Even some documentaries on the battle probably would not meet that qualification. Any Hollywood movie you watch will absolutely take liberties and not be historically accurate. With the Midway movie, they are definitely trying to make clear parallels to the modern day. The trailer is filled with buzzwords like "greatest intelligence failure in history" yada yada yada. They are playing up both the drama and the "modern parallels" of the battle.

Tl:dr hollywood doesn't write historical narratives, they write stories. Enjoy the movie, but don't come out of it thinking you have an accurate picture of events.
