I've written about this in the past here, but it needs to be said that I've never encountered an explicit reference to the Wandering Soul tape by a North/South Vietnamese defector. It's difficult to find any accurate numbers attributing these sort of broadcasts to a certain amount of defections. It certainly worked, but we do not have any numbers as to how many.
