Why did Scottish Republicanism never take off militarily like Irish Republicanism did?

Why is there no Scottish Republican Army? Did the differences in treatment by the english lead to violence in Ireland and not Scotland?

Resistance began to build up against the British government after the Famine(An Gotta Mór) due to what the Irish saw as awful help, which it was, but the help was the best the British would ever give at the time, due to their policy of "Laissez-Faire" which meant the government didn't interfere with the economy. What they did do was set up workhouses, where the Irish would go if they needed food, they would work long hours and men, women, children were separated. The Irish also saw it as betrayal to go to these workhouses so a lot of the population refused to go and instead starved.

Lots of rebellions began happening across Ireland, the most notable of which were the ones of 1789 and then the 1916 Easter rebellion.

The 1916 rebellion was at first, hated by members of the public as their cities and houses were destroyed. However, when the rebels were hanged by the British government, the rebels were seen as martyrs. Support grew and the IRA was formed. There were also unionist militia groups, most notably "Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF)". After the rising, war broke out between the IRA and the British. The Irish used guerilla tactics to fight .The Irish sent diplomats to Britain. These diplomats eventually signed the Anglo-Irish Treaty. This meant the British government gave up 26 counties to be controlled by Ireland. The remaining 6 were kept by Northern Ireland.

The Civil War then broke out between the pro and anti treaty Irish.

The Scottish never formed such a group as this for 2 main reasons, a) The Scottish were easier to police as they're part of mainland Britain. b) The Scottish never had a famine or any tragedy as severe as the famine and so, while there was nationalists in Scotland, and there still is, not as many people disliked the British Government and so there was less support for a Scottish Republican Army.
