Book on Escort Carrier operations in WW2?

by JackOfAllTrades2008

As the title indicates I was curious if anyone knew of such a book? Something like Last Stand of the Tin Can Warriors perspective, but of their traditional roles of convoy escorting? Or anything related? I'm all ears! TIA

Yes, in fact! Really, it's two books by William T Y'Blood: Hunter-Killer and The Little Giants.

The former is CVE activities in the Atlantic, the latter in the Pacific. The books go fairly deep into how and where Escort Carriers did their jobs, but not so deep as to become textbook-level. Either is a good read, and I highly recommend them.
