How far this kind of indoor toys was popular also among the commoner children, as OP asked above, however, is a bit difficult to answer. Dices made of antlers might not have been so expensive, but I suppose it was not so easy for rural children (especially by themselves ) to purchase such a craft goods out of town.

Alernatively, I wonder whether you and your sibling could enjoy playing with this kind of wooden toy, found in the abandoned medieval well in Norway a few years ago , also in your house if your parents were so generous to make it and to present to you, together with some bucket......
