Any body know what this is, I picked it up at a estate auction and wanted to know what it is/ who’s on it and what it means. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is a commemorative pin marking the 30th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War. The image in the top right is the Warrior-Liberator, a statue installed in Treptower Park, Berlin, in 1949. The image in the lower left is an Order of the Patriotic War, a decoration awarded to Red Army personnel during the war and also to all surviving veterans on the 40th anniversary of the end of the war in 1985 (1st or 2nd class, depending on their achievements in the war).
