Who exactly were the north European Pagans and what did they worship?

I know the most famous ones are the Norse Pagans who worshiped Odin and Thor and stuff, but what about the other ones? I know there were more than that and anything I try to find on them is pretty limited and dry. Who were they and what do we know about them?
