Hey everyone,
I am a history student in Germany and not to long ago we had a multiple classes on Didactics of History which simply started with the question: "What is History?"
The theories we dealt with during the class came almost exclusively from German scholars: Michele Barricelli; Jörn Rüsen; Klaus Bergmann; Hans-Jürgen Pandel; Johannes Meyer-Hamme; Bodo von Borries and so on.
So maybe a bit more of a free and personal question than what comes up here regularly, but what is history to you?
