I've been trying to find more notes about the m1871 Trombon Musketoon, and specifically its use between 1800-1815 (The Napoleonic Era).

I want to know if anyone can help me figure out the specifics of the Musketoon, such as its caliber size, different types of shot it could fire (Buck and Ball, Pistol gathering, Single ball,) and so forth.
