I want to build a portuguese galleon in 3D for a project. I am looking for a person that can give me as much informations as possible because I want it to be as historically accurate as it can be. Also it should be plausible it could have been on port on Madeira. My main problem is, that there are quite a few rebuilds of great spanish galleons but not a lot of material on portuguese ones.
First, as introductory text, I may offer my own post on Portuguese Galleons with additon to my posts on Caravel and Carrack and then I'll offer some more detailed reading resources.
I do have to point out that "Galleon" as a term for ships and as a ship class emerged only from 1510s and 1520s onwards and we actually have really poor sources for the reconstruction of any ship prior to the end of 16th century
Now, if you are willing to move your timeframe to 1580s-1600 you will be in much better luck as from that time we have several texts on the construction of Portuguese ships:
Fernando Oliveira's: O Livro da Fabrica das Naos from circa 1580s
Unknown author's; Livro Náutico, ou Meio Prático de Construção de Navios e Galés Antigas from circa 1590s-1610s
and João Baptista Lavanha's: Livro primeiro da architectura naval from 1608
You can find the original manuscript in digitilized form on the web, but you then have to decipher the images, translate the text, convert the units and so on.
Luckily, Felipe Castro of Texas A&M University did a lot of research on Portuguese galleons from the end of 16th century, and kindly gave them for download on his academia.edu page here

One of the things his team did was trying to do a 3D model of the Portuguese Nau and for example you might be interested in the paper The nau of the Livro Nautico: reconstructing a sixteenth-century Indiaman from texts which should have the PDF inside with 3D models and details there
I should warn you, they focus more on the Nau (Carrack) then the Galleon, but you might find many helpful things there.
