So I aquired an old flintlock musket today and since I am not an expert on antique firearms I came here. A friend of mine who has some knowledge of guns proposed that it is a Swedish m/1774 which would make sense since I am Swedish and aquired the musket in Sweden.
It weighs around 3-3,5 kg without the ramrod. Barrel length is 98 cm and overall length seems to be 135-140 cm. The caliber is around 20mm and the barrel is not rifled.
Note that this musket is in horrible condition and is most likely barely worth a dime. It also makes it hard to read any insigna or marks on the barrel or stock. Picture of the Musket:

My question is: Is this a m/1774?
There are quite a number of flintlock muskets, even fowlers ( shotguns) that would more or less fit your description. You need to post a link to a photo. Most people here use IMGUR. It would greatly narrow down the possibilities to see specific features, like the shape of the lock, whether it has barrel bands instead of wedges holding the barrel to the stock, etc.
