The bow and arrow was a weapon/tool used in many cultures all across the world. did it originate in one place and travel through cultures as they intermingled or did different cultures/regions "invent" the bow and arrow independently?
We don’t know.
It’s possible, but we’ve found bows dating back 9000 years, and we have cave paintings of the use of bows and arrows that date back to when there was still a land bridge between Asia and North America, so it’s possible that it was a knowledge that spread throughout all of humanity, but considering how spread our humans were pre-agriculture, it’s also possible that it developed independently.
